MG-Guard UV-1

MG-Guard UV-1 is a viscous liquid formamidine UV absorber that is especially effective at absorbing UV radiation between 300-325nm, where polyurethanes are especially sensitive. MG-Guard UV-1 is miscible with polyester polyol and polyether polyol and has good compatibility with isocyanates. This absorber imparts colorfastness, protection against surface crazing, and retention of physical properties during ultraviolet exposure to a number of systems, including polyurethanes (foam, semi-rigid, fabric coating), adhesives, sealants, and elastomers.
